It all started over lunch with a client—let’s call her MC. Between bites of her salad, she leaned in and said, “You’re like my jet guy. I wish I could have you as a caddy because you always tell me the right plane for the job. You’re like... My Aviation Caddy!”

I laughed, sharing the story with colleagues when I got back to the office, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized she was right. I was like an aviation caddy, and her analogy fit perfectly.

Why an Aviation Caddy?

MC is an avid golfer, and as we talked about how golfers rely on their caddies, it clicked. A great caddy doesn’t just carry the clubs—they’re integral to the golfer’s success. They provide expert insights on the course, read the greens, understand the conditions, and, most importantly, recommend the right club for each shot.

Sure, you could putt with your driver, but that’s a one-way ticket to a short-lived golf career. The caddy and the golfer form a symbiotic partnership: the golfer controls the shot, but the caddy ensures the odds are stacked in their favor.

That’s the exact approach I take with my clients. You’re in control—you call the shots—but I’m here to give you the lay of the land, share the expertise you need, and make sure you have the right aircraft for the mission.
