It was a late Friday afternoon when the phone rang—a hotel concierge was on the line, their voice slightly rushed but professional. A VIP guest staying at their hotel had just made a last-minute request: a private jet for four, departing the next morning to Napa Valley for a day of wine tasting and returning back to the hotel. As the Aviation Caddy, I knew this was a situation where precision and speed were non-negotiable.

The guest had specifics: a light jet with enough room to ensure comfort, an in-flight sommelier-curated wine selection, and a luxury car waiting on the tarmac upon arrival. These weren’t just requests; they were expectations tied to the hotel’s reputation for flawless service.

I quickly identified the perfect light jet—stylish, available, and most importantly tailored to their needs.  I secured premium onboard catering and arranged ground transportation, sparing the concierge the logistical headache and creating a central point of contact for the hotel and guest.

By sunrise, everything was set. The jet departed right on schedule, and the guests were delighted by the experience. Later, the concierge shared that the guest had not only extended their stay at the hotel but also wanted to look at a charter option to fly home, all thanks to the flawless execution.

This wasn’t just about arranging a flight; it was about enabling the concierge to uphold their promise of excellence and ensuring their guest’s experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
